i officially love my parents.

my mother made me a captain jack shirt (billowy sleeves and all) in two days.

my parents allowed me to go to see pirates at midnight last night, and my mother waited with me, nicole, kitty, and mary for two hours before the movie.

and my mother said if i saved up some money, instead of a graduation party she would (seriously) consider taking me to california to the premire of pirates 3 (and wait with me from 5 am for the chance to see mr. depp in person!!)

i love my parents.

ps- pirates 2 was awesome. i'm going to see it again! and again, and again, and again...
and i'm looking for an image of the last shot of jack in the movie... if anyone knows where i might find such a picture? thanks!

so yeah... prom was fun! :) michael and i talked a lot outside (neither of us really dance) and although i was a half hour late for my curfiew my parents didn't care. :D
battle of the bands was fun, but there were only a few people there, but michael, matt walton, erin kelley, and becky maclauclan came, which was a lot of fun. :) erika, mary, michael and i went out for ice cream afterwards, and erika said some... amusing things, lol.

and a funny thing? apparently i'm a slut, according to ASH gossip. when i heard, i laughed out loud. lol... i've never been the subject of gossip before, and it's rather amusing, i must say. :)

i told my mum that the only thing i wanted for my birthday was to be able to sleep til noon. then she freaked out on me, saying, "do you want to just sleep your birthday away?"
i simply said, "because i'm not doing anything else, yes, yes i would."

needless to say, i'll probably be woken up at 6:00 on thursday. go figure.

things and people that make me indescribeably happy:

- my brand spankin' new class ring

- jessie harper because ... no explanation is needed

- haifaa, meghan, and mary and I post-ring ceramony

- being teased for it being my first time in a starbucks and not knowinig what the hell a frappa-whatsis is

- my class, for being awesome, even if some of us did trip in our heels

- the class of 06, because, even if sometimes they try really hard to piss us off, we still love them :)

things that make me incredibly sad:

- that jessie, nicole, eve, megan, husnah, michelle, riley, and the rest of the class of 2006 are going to leave so soon... (by the way, all graduating theatre seniors MUST come back to work spots. or student direct. or something.)

...goodbye yellow brick road...

When are you gonna come down
When are you going to land
I should have stayed on the farm
I should have listened to my old man

You know you can't hold me forever
I didn't sign up with you
I'm not a present for your friends to open
This boy's too young to be singing the blues

So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plough

Back to the howling old owl in the woods
Hunting the horny back toad
Oh I've finally decided my future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road

What do you think you'll do then
I bet that'll shoot down your plane
It'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics
To set you on your feet again

Maybe you'll get a replacement
There's plenty like me to be found
Mongrels who ain't got a penny
Sniffing for tidbits like you on the ground

i already miss the wizard of oz. not so much the play, i suppose, but being able to spend time with people i love. especially the seniors... its so depressing to think that i'll never again get to do a play with jessie, megan, nicole, riley, michelle... *sigh*.

pity party overwith, good news. *hums wicked* i get to skip school tomorrow, because my flight to south dakota is at 6:00 am.... *yay project term!* ... even if i didn't get my pt journal... ah well. i was kinda looking foreward to reading the stuff from italy again though... (oh... gina, natalie, bacon, jt, 'betty', jessica, jessie... *sniff*)

other good news? i had service today (wing lake) and the kid that felt me up wasn't there. :) (you can stop laughing now. yes, i was inappropriately touched by a mentally and physically handicaped boy. seriously.)

so i'm gonna be off soon... i have to pack... and stuff... and csi's on tonight... :)

8 days til RENT!

and i got Anthony Rapp's memoir over the weekend, and read it in one day. it's awsome. amazingly so. very heartfelt, while using a rich vocabulary and beautiful writing skills. everyone go out and buy it. because it's awsome. even if it does contain a rather traumitizing event in which he discovers his bi-sexuality. (and just for the record, i'm fine with bisexuals and homosexuals. just- the event itself was traumitizing, slightly. but still go get the book, because it's awesome!)

yup. 8 days. the countdown is officially on. and only three play practices this week, one of which is music only. :) HURRAH FOR LESS TIME BEING YELLED AT BY MRS M!
